In just eight weeks, our meat birds grow from day-old chicks into plump, tender roasting chickens. These are Cornish Cross (Cornish Rock) broilers — the classic meat bird known for excellent feed conversion, broad breasts, and juicy, mild-flavored meat.

Raised with care on our farm, the birds start in a protected brooder and then move onto fresh pasture in mobile chicken tractors. They are moved daily so they always have clean ground, fresh grass, and the chance to scratch and forage. Their diet is a high-quality broiler feed supplemented by the bugs and greens they find on pasture, supporting steady, healthy growth without excess stress on their bodies.

At around 8 weeks, the birds typically dress out in the 4–6 pound range — perfect for a family roast, grilling, or cutting into parts. The meat is tender and mild, with a good balance of white and dark meat, and the skin crisps beautifully when roasted.

These birds are purpose-bred for meat and harvested young while the meat is at its most tender. They offer an excellent return of high-quality protein in a short timeframe.

Our birds are processed at a USDA-inspected facility in Walling, Tennessee, then frozen and vacuum-sealed for peak freshness.

How pre-orders work:
Place a $10 deposit per bird to reserve your order. Final weight and balance will be calculated at pickup in the beginning of November 2026.
